Lead role for Jenifer Lewis in Showtime's I Love This For You by Vanessa Bayer

Jenifer Lewis (Black-ish) has joined the cast of I Love This for You. The series is based on the story by creator Vanessa Bayer (Single Parents). I Love This for You has been inspired by a story that was created by creator Vanessa Bayer (Single Parents). It focuses on beating leukaemia at a young age. It revolves around Joanna Gold, whose dream is to become a host at a home shopping network. As she is trying to get rid of her lifelong label of being 'that cancer girl', she leaves her parents and for the first time ever starts an adult relationship and forms a meaningful friendship with her idol Jackie, the charismatic host of the network.

Jenifer Lewis (Black-ish) will portray one of the lead characters. She will portray Patricia, the icy, mysterious founder and CEO of a popular home shopping network. For the pilot, Cybill Shepherd (The Client List) joined the cast, but she has left the project. Vanessa Bayer (Single Parents) and Molly Shannon (The White Lotus) will also portray lead characters. Next to Bayer being one of the leads, she has also created the series alongside Jeremy Beiler (Saturday Night Live). Jessi Klein (Dead To Me) will serve as executive producer.
