Max Beesley added to Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen cast for Netflix

Max Beesley (The Outsider (2020), Hijack) has been cast to play Henry Collins in The Gentlemen, the Netflix series created by Guy Ritchie and inspired by his 2019 Miramax film.
The eight-part drama series follows Eddie Horniman (Theo James, The Time Traveler's Wife), who has inherited his English aristocratic father's sizable estate and becomes the new Duke of Halstead - only to discover it sits atop Europe's largest cannabis farm, which is owned by the legendary Mickey Pearson. It's all about old money, new money and 'show me the money'.

The cast also includes Vinnie Jones (Arrow), Joely Richardson (Nip/Tuck), Kaya Scodelario (Spinning Out), Daniel Ings (Instinct (2018)), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad) and Peter Serafinowicz (Miracle Workers (2019) ).



Beesley (pictured) can now be seen opposite Idris Elba and Archie Panjabi in the limited thriller series Hijack for Apple TV+. The series follows Sam (Elba) a skilled business negotiator who must use all his cunning to stop a plane's hijackers and save the lives of the passengers. Beesley plays DI Daniel Farrell in the series which premiered June 28.

He can currently be seen in the Lionsgate movie Operation Fortune playing Ben Harris opposite Jason Statham and Hugh Grant directed by Guy Ritchie.

Ritchie directs the first two episodes of The Gentlemen and produces alongside Matthew Read, Marn Davies and Ivan Atkinson, alongside Marc Helwig for Miramax TV and Will Gould and Frith Tiplady for Moonage Pictures. The series producer is Hugh Warren. Read and Ritchie are co-writers.

A premiere date for The Gentlemen series will be announced later.
