Murderbot must hide his free will and complete a dangerous assignment when all he really wants to do is be left alone to watch futuristic soap operas and determine his place in the universe.

The two-time Olivier Award winner and Tony nominee recently appeared in the action thriller Retribution opposite Liam Neeson and as The Queen in The Little Mermaid for Disney. She also has series roles in HBO's The Undoing, HBO Max's Made for Love, BBC/Netflix series Black Earth Rising and Netflix's The Watcher. She will soon be seen in the Apple TV+ series Presumed Innocent.
In addition to Skarsgård, David Dastmalchian, known for Hulu's Reprisal and the films The Suicide Squad, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Dune and Oppenheimer, is also a part of the series.
The Weitz brothers write, direct and produce under their banner Depth of Field. Andrew Miano also produces for Depth of Field. David S. Goyer produces with Keith Levine for Phantom Four. Wells is a consulting producer.
