Peter Dager cast opposite Owen Wilson for Apple's golf comedy series

After a search, young actor Peter Dager has been given the leading role opposite Owen Wilson in the ten-part golf comedy series. In the untitled comedy series, Wilson plays Pryce Cahill, an ex-professional golfer whose career was cut short twenty years ago. After he is fired from an Indiana sporting goods store and his wife abandons him, Pryce bets all his money on a troubled seventeen-year-old golf phenom played by Dager (pictured below).



The Apple Studios production was created, written and produced by Jason Keller and is directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris.

The comedy series is also produced by Propagate's Ben Silverman, Howard T. Owens and Rodney Ferrell, Entertainment 360's Guymon Casady, Piece of Work's Lee Eisenberg and Natalie Sandy, Chris Moynihan, Keller, Wilson and Bill Callahan.

Cuban-American actor Dager recently appeared in Insidious 5, directed by Patrick Wilson, and had a major role in the film Who Invited Charlie? from 2022, directed by Xavier Manique.
