Don Johnson stars opposite Joshua Jackson in Dr. Odyssey, a new ABC drama series from Ryan Murphy. The series comes from 20th Television in association with Ryan Murphy Television and will launch in the fall. As with any Ryan Murphy series, no details about the premise are revealed. As the title suggests, Dr. Odyssey a medical series. According to sources, it takes place on a cruise ship.

Johnson is known for his roles as Detective Sonny Crockett in the classic 1980s NBC series Miami Vice and as the title character in the 1996 CBS series Nash Bridges, which he also reprized in the 2021 Nash Bridges film for USA Network. Other series roles include the Emmy-winning HBO limited series Watchmen (2019), the NBC comedy series Kenan and the ABC drama series Blood & Oil.
