Based on the hit Wondery podcast, Dying for Sex is the story of Molly (Williams), a woman diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer who leaves her husband of fifteen years and begins to explore her sexuality. She gets the courage and support to embark on this adventure from her best friend Nikki (Slate), who stays by her side until the end.

Delaney (pictured left) plays Neighbor Guy, Molly's strange magnetic neighbor. Rasche (photo center) portrays Dr. Pankowitz, Molly's old-fashioned oncologist with no manners, and Jouléy (pictured right) is Sonya, a palliative care social worker, recently graduated, who encourages Molly and provides much-needed guidance.
Meriwether and Rosenstock serve as showrunners and executive producers. Headland was initially slated to direct but will remain executive producer, along with Meriwether's longtime collaborator Katherine Pope, Nikki Boyer, host and co-creator of the Dying for Sex podcast, and Wondery's Jen Sargent, Marshall Lewy, Aaron Hart and Hernan Lopez.
Delaney is best known as the co-creator and co-star of the BAFTA-winning and Emmy-nominated Channel 4 and Amazon Prime comedy series Catastrophe, which ran for four seasons. On the film front, Delaney played fan-favorite character Peter W. in Deadpool 2 and will reprise his role in Deadpool 3, set for release this summer. He will soon be seen opposite Vince Vaughn in Apple TV+'s Bad Monkey.
Rasche played the role of Karl Muller in HBO's multiple Emmy-winning series Succession. His other series roles include recurring roles on HBO's Veep and Bored to Death, as well as appearances on ABC's Ugly Betty, CBS's Madam Secretary, and many others.
Jouléy co-starred with Patricia Clarkson and Brendan Gleeson in the Sundance series State of the Union. Other series roles include Starz's Blindspotting, HBO's High Maintenance (2016) and Netflix's Inventing Anna.
