Phillipa Soo Cast in Ryan Murphy's Dr. Odyssey

Phillipa Soo stars opposite Joshua Jackson and Don Johnson in Dr. Odyssey, a new ABC drama series from Ryan Murphy. The series comes from 20th Television in association with Ryan Murphy Television and will premiere in the fall.

As with any Ryan Murphy series, no details about the premise are revealed. As the title suggests, Dr. Odyssey a medical series. According to sources, it takes place on a cruise ship.



Details about Soo's character (pictured) are still being kept under wraps.

Dr. Odyssey was written and produced by Murphy, Jon Robin Baitz and Joe Baken. Paris Barclay directs and produces. Eric Paquette, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson and Nissa Diederich also produce alongside Jackson.

Soo is best known for her role as Eliza Schuyler Hamilton in the critically acclaimed Broadway musical Hamilton, which earned her Tony and Grammy nominations. The film adaptation of the show was released on Disney+ in 2020, for which she received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress. Her television performances include Hulu's Dopesick and Apple TV+'s Shining Girls.
