Melissa Roxburgh returns to NBC as the lead actress in the new drama series The Hunting Party. The Hunting Party was created by JJ Bailey, who also wrote the pilot episode. It is a procedural crime series about a small team of detectives who must track down and capture the most dangerous killers our country has ever seen.
Roxburgh (pictured) plays Rebecca 'Bex' Henderson. Bex is a cunning, tenacious, and obsessively curious ex-FBI agent who is recruited into an elite government task force because of her reputation as a clever behavioral expert who has caught some of the world's most dangerous serial killers.
The Hunting Party, which received a straight-to-series order, is produced by Bailey and Jake Coburn who co-write and run the series. Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, is the studio.
Roxburgh is best known as the lead actress in the hit mystery drama series Manifest, which ran for three seasons on NBC before being canceled and rescued by Netflix with an order for a fourth and final two-part season.
She recently guest-starred in the new CBS drama series Tracker as Colter's (Justin Hartley) sister and last year appeared in a guest role in the NBC reboot Quantum Leap (2022).
