The series synopsis reads: Isolated on a remote Greek island, retired assassin Julie (Hawes, pictured left) has a somewhat difficult reunion with her estranged son Edward (Highmore, pictured right), who is visiting from England.
Armed with questions about new information about his father, Edward fights to find the right time to talk to his frustratingly distant mother. But when the moment finally comes, things take a deadly turn when Julie's dangerous past catches up with her and they are forced to flee the island and go on the run together.
Edward's search for the truth collides with Julie's secrecy as they are forced to work together in a battle for survival, testing their dysfunctional relationship to the limit. As they uncover a dark plot that they believe is their only threat, a greater danger emerges that will completely destroy their relationship. In a race against time, Julie fights to save Edward and save their relationship as past and present collide in a global showdown.
