Produced by Richard LaGravenese (Behind the Candelabra), who serves as showrunner, JonBenét Ramsey investigates the tragic unsolved murder of the six-year-old beauty queen of the same name.

The series follows the Ramsey family, before and after the tragedy, as they deal with the painful loss of a child, all the while dealing with intense public scrutiny brought on by a media frenzy that has seen the case captivate an entire nation. loved.

The heart of the series is the story of Patsy and John Ramsey - exploring the unbreakable partnership of these two complex people - as husband and wife, as mother and father - who had dedicated themselves and their children to building the story of a perfect, privileged life, only to see it destroyed on Christmas night in 1996.

Billingsley (pictured above, left) plays Bill McReynolds. A neighbor of the Ramseys, friendly with a genuine, over-the-top naivety. Bill has always played Santa Claus at the neighborhood Christmas parties, and he will play Santa at the Ramseys' party this year.

Bobb (pictured above, right) will play Pete Hofstrom, the Boulder district attorney who seemingly sides with the Ramseys when tragedy strikes.

Production takes place in Calgary, Canada. Four of the eight episodes, including the first episode, are directed by Anne Sewitsky (Presumed Innocent), who also serves as executive producer.

The series was created and written by Harrison Query and Tommy Wallach, who sold it as a pitch to producers MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios. David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, McCarthy and Sewitsky will produce alongside writers La Gravenese, Query and Wallach.

Billingsley was recently seen in the Apple TV+ miniseries Manhunt (2024). He is best known for his role as Dr. Phlox in Star Trek: Enterprise and also had roles in HBO's True Blood and CBS's Intelligence (2014), among others.

Bobb recently wrapped filming on two Apple TV+ series: The Savant opposite Jessica Chastain and Government Cheese opposite David Oyelowo. Previously, he appeared in HBO's The Outsider (2020), Netflix's Russian Doll and Marvel's Jessica Jones.
