Details about the new project are scarce, but as we previously reported, the Marvel Vision spinoff has been in development at Disney+ since 2022 and was picked up to series in May. The story will center on Vision (Bettany) as he attempts to regain his memory and humanity. After Thanos killed him in Avengers: Infinity War, Vision returned in 2021’s WandaVision.
In addition to Bettany returning to the role he played in three Marvel films and Marvel’s WandaVision, James Spader will reprise his MCU role as Ultron. Todd Stashwick will also appear in an undisclosed role.
Star Trek: Picard executive producer Terry Matalas will serve as showrunner for the new series.
