Marcia Gay Harden Cast in Margo's Got Money Troubles for Apple TV+

Oscar winner Marcia Gay Harden guest stars in Margo's Got Money Troubles. Harden joins Elle Fanning, Nicole Kidman, Michelle Pfeiffer and Nick Offerman in the series based on the novel by Rufi Thorpe.

Fanning stars as Margo Millet, the child of a Hooters waitress (Pfeiffer) and an ex-pro wrestler (Offerman), who becomes pregnant after a brief affair with an English professor at the local junior college she attends. Now, at the age of twenty, Margo is alone with a child, unemployed and on the verge of deportation.



Harden (pictured) will likely play Elizabeth, the professor's fiercely protective mother.

When Jinx, Margo's estranged father, shows up on her doorstep and asks if he can move in with her, she agrees in exchange for help with childcare. Margo starts an OnlyFans as an experiment and soon finds herself taking some of Jinx's advice from the wrestling world. Could this be the answer to Margo's problems, or does internet fame come at too high a price?

The eight-part series comes from David E. Kelley and A24. Fanning and Kidman are also executive producers.

Harden received four Emmy nominations for her role as Maggie Brener on Apple TV+'s The Morning Show and recently appeared in the CBS dramedy So ​​Help Me Todd and the Netflix comedy series Uncoupled, for which she received a Critics Choice Award nomination. Harden also had a series regular role on the CBS medical drama Code Black.
