Drew Starkey, known for the Netflix adventure series Outer Banks, has been added to the cast of the limited series Lucky.Anya Taylor-Joy is the lead actress and Reese Witherspoon is an executive producer of the Apple TV+ series. Starkey (pictured) rounds out the main cast with many household names, including Annette Bening, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor and Timothy Olyphant.
Lucky is written by Jonathan Tropper and is based on the bestseller by Marissa Stapley and Reese's Book Club of the same name. It centers on a young woman (Taylor-Joy) who has left behind the criminal life she grew up in years ago, but now must embrace her dark, criminal side for the last time in a desperate attempt to escape her past.
Starkey will play Cary, the husband of Lucky (Taylor-Joy), in what has been billed as a major recurring role.
On television, in addition to his series regular role as reformed bad boy Rafe Cameron in Outer Banks, Starkey starred in Prime Video's The Terminal List for a season. He also had guest roles on HBO Max's Doom Patrol and OWN's Queen Sugar, among others.
