Wilson Bethel, Keith Carradine and Jackson Kelly have joined the cast of Imperfect Women in recurring roles. The upcoming psychological thriller series Imperfect Women, based on the novel by Araminta Hall, continues to take shape. Apple TV+ has confirmed Wilson Bethel, Keith Carradine and Jackson Kelly will join an already impressive cast, which also includes Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington and Kate Mara in lead roles, with Moss and Washington serving as executive producers.
Wilson Bethel
Imperfect Women tells the story of three women whose close, decades-long friendship is put to the test when a mysterious crime turns everything upside down. The series explores themes of guilt, love, betrayal, and the changes that relationships undergo over time. The story unfolds through multiple perspectives, making the mystery all the more complex and intriguing.
Bethel plays Scott, Carradine stars as R.L. Hennessy, and Kelly, another relative newcomer, plays Marcus.
Keith Carradine
Wilson is best known for his role as Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter/Bullseye in the third season of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series Marvel's Daredevil and the revival series Daredevil: Born Again. He previously played Wade Kinsella on The CW's Hart of Dixie and Deputy District Attorney Mark Callan on OWN's legal drama All Rise.
Carradine has had roles in numerous television series, including FBI agent Frank Lundy on the Showtime series Dexter, Lou Solverson in the first season of FX anthology series Fargo, Penny's father Wyatt on the CBS comedy series The Big Bang Theory, Wild Bill Hickok on the HBO series Deadwood, and U.S. President Conrad Dalton on the CBS political drama series Madam Secretary.
Jackson Kelly
Kelly hasn't landed any major roles in television series yet, but he has guest-starred in HBO's The Righteous Gemstones, CBS comedy series Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage, Peacock horror series Teacup, Apple TV+ limited series Lessons In Chemistry, and most recently HBO Max's The Pitt. He had a recurring role in SyFy/USA Network's Chucky.
The television adaptation of Imperfect Women is in the hands of Annie Weisman, known for Physical, again in collaboration with Apple TV+. Lesli Linka Glatter (Homeland, Mad Men) directs the pilot and is executive producer. Kay Oyegun (This Is Us) also writes and produces, as does Araminta Hall herself.
Imperfect Women promises to be a smart, multi-layered thriller with a star cast, strong female leads, and a compelling mystery. The release date has not yet been announced, but expectations are high.
