Mike Flanagan, known for Doctor Sleep, The Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass, is both writer and showrunner of the series. Flanagan has previously successfully adapted several works by Stephen King, including Gerald’s Game and The Life of Chuck. His long-standing creative collaboration with Sloyan continues with Carrie. Sloyan had roles in Gerald’s Game and Flanagan’s series The Fall of the House of Usher, The Midnight Club, Midnight Mass and The Haunting of Hill House.
With a strong cast and Flanagan at the helm, Carrie promises to be a modern, compelling retelling of the classic horror story about bullying, oppression and revenge on Prime Video.
