John Slattery, Jessica Henwick, and Ellen Robertson have been added as series regulars in the Netflix series Vladimir. John Slattery
The series, based on the novel by Julia May Jonas, follows a woman (played by Rachel Weisz) whose life goes completely off the rails when she becomes obsessed with a charismatic, mysterious colleague—Vladimir (played by Leo Woodall). The story promises a mix of dark humor, sexy secrets, and morally complex characters.
Slattery plays John, Henwick plays Cynthia, and Robertson portrays Sid. Other new cast members include Carter as Lila, Silverman as Florence, Johnson as Edwina, Walsh as David, Jones as Alexis, and Lambert as Dawn.
The series consists of eight episodes. Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini (Fleishman Is in Trouble) will direct three episodes, including the pilot, and co-produce. Rachel Weisz will serve as both the lead actress and executive producer.
