Kim Coates cast in USA Network series Anna Pigeon

Kim Coates, known from Sons of Anarchy and The Walking Dead: Dead City, has landed a role in the new USA Network series Anna Pigeon.
The series follows Anna Pigeon (Tracy Spiridakos), a former city woman who decides to become a park ranger after a significant loss. As she tries to escape her personal demons, Anna focuses on solving crimes that occur in national parks, stopping at nothing and no one.

The story of Anna Pigeon is based on the novels by Nevada Barr. Filming for the first season is currently taking place in Calgary, Alberta.

Coates plays Jeremiah Paulson, a wealthy landowner who does not shy away from breaking the rules. Alongside Spiridakos, Ronnie Rowe Jr. is also part of the main cast. Coates joins the recurring cast, which previously announced Jordan Sledz, Crystle Lightning, and Nikki Rae Hallow.

Anna Pigeon is the second new drama series from USA Network since the channel's relaunch as a home for original fiction, following The Rainmaker starring John Slattery.

Coates became known worldwide for his role as Tig in Sons of Anarchy. Recently, he played Brugel, a gang leader, in season two of The Walking Dead: Dead City.

Earlier this year, he portrayed Brigham Young in the Netflix miniseries American Primeval opposite Taylor Kitsch, and he had a role in HBO’s The White House Plumbers alongside Woody Harrelson and Justin Theroux. He also returned as Declan Gardner in the second season of the Netflix crime series Bad Blood (2017).
