The official description reads: "When a fugitive prisoner is cornered by the police at a truck stop, he takes hostages in an attempt to force his freedom. But the standoff quickly turns into an uncontrollable social experiment between him and his captives — and into an emotional poker game with a seasoned FBI negotiator trained in 'tactical empathy.'"

Netflix has not yet announced which role Driver will play.

Rabbit, Rabbit is the second series Driver is attached to this year. It was previously announced that he will star opposite Jessica Chastain in The Dealer, a drama series about the art world at Apple TV+.

The Oscar and Emmy-nominated actor was recently seen in Jim Jarmusch's film Father Mother Sister Brother. On television, Driver is best known as Adam Sackler from the HBO comedy-drama series Girls.
