The six-part series is produced by AGC Television, Ascendant Fox, and Turbine Studios and follows an intense crisis situation when heavily armed mercenaries storm the American embassy in London.

The story revolves around Layla, played by Anna Kendrick, a smart and resourceful American diplomat who faces an impossible choice. She must decide whether to protect the American ambassador, played by J.K. Simmons, or follow his order to evacuate a valuable target from the embassy.
During this dangerous situation, she is forced to rely on her own instincts and the help of her former fiancé Connor Wright, a hardened and experienced soldier, with whom she shares a complicated personal history. Together, they try to survive the crisis and organize a safe escape while the threat continues to escalate.
The series is co-directed by Christian Alvart, who handles two episodes, while John Strickland directs the remaining episodes. Alvart is known for projects such as Case 39, Pandorum, and the Netflix crime series Dogs of Berlin, as well as the German historical thriller Free Country and the vampire series Oderbruch. He previously gained recognition with the thriller Antibodies.
Sam Heughan is about to bid farewell to his role as the Highland warrior in Outlander, whose eighth and final season premieres in March. Additionally, he was recently seen in the romantic drama film Love Again, alongside Priyanka Chopra and Celine Dion, and starred in the comedy spy film The Spy Who Dumped Me.
Embassy is created and written by Rom Lotan, who also serves as an executive producer. Filming begins next month in London and Cologne. AGC Television is responsible for financing and international distribution.
Currently, there is no official network or streaming service attached to the series, which means it is an independently financed production that will later be sold to a platform.
