Role for Chris Wood in Thirtysomething(else)

Actor Chris Wood, known for Supergirl and The Vampire Diaries, will be a key player in the ABC pilot of the Thirtysomething (else) series. That is the sequel to thirtysomething, a drama series by Ed Zwick, which was shown between 1987 and 1991. Thirtysomething (else), again directed by Ed Zwick, follows the now grown children of the original cast. They are accompanied by returning original cast members Ken Olin (Michael Steadman), Mel Harris (Hope Murdoch), Timothy Busfield (Elliot Weston) and Patty Wettig (Nancy Weston).

Chris Wood will portray Leo Steadman, the son of Hope and Michael and the brother of Janey. He is handsome and charming. But his talent and great ideas don't really get off the ground due to his lack of focus and perseverance.

Thirtysomething, a family drama, was shown for four seasons and had a total of 85 episodes at ABC.
