Casting news for CW pilot The Lost Boys

Earlier, it was announced a > that The CW has ordered an improved version of the pilot of The Lost Boys. Part of the cast has also been revealed

Branden Cook (Industry) portrays the older brother of Lincoln Younes (Grand Hotel). The brothers move with their mother, portrayed by Ruby Cruz (Castle Rock), back to the birth village of their mother. This birth village has a secret underworld filled with vampires.

All the popular youngsters sleep all day and party all night, but none of them seem to grow up. The mutual ties in the family come under pressure when they discover the reason for the inexplicable situation. The Lost Boys is based on the horror film of the same name by Warner Bros. from 1987.

The pilot is written by Heather Mitchell and Rob Thomas and is directed by Marcos Siega. Mitchell and Siega are the producer of the series together with Thomas and Dan Etheridge, Mike Karz and Bill Bindley. Last year, The CW had already ordered a pilot episode of this project, but that version was rejected.
