Casting news for The Mysterious Benedict Society

It has been revealed which actors will join Tony Hale (Harley Quinn) as part of the cast of the Hulu series The Mysterious Benedict Society. The Mysterious Benedict Society tells the story of four gifted creatures who are sent on a secret mission to a boarding school by the eccentric benefactor, who is portrayed by Tony Hale (Harley Quinn). They are tasked with stopping a crime that'll have global repercussions. The series has been written by Matt Manfredi (The Boys) and Phil Hay (The Invitation) and is based on the bestseller with the same name from Trenton Lee Stewart.

Mystic Inscho (Splintered) will portray the confident and kind-hearted orphan Reynie Muldoon. Emmy DeOliveira (Flaked) will portray the ingenious, athletic orphan Kate Weatherall. Seth Carr (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) will portray the shy but very loyal orphan George 'Sticky' Washington. Finally, Marta Timofeeva (Survive) will portray the last of the four orphans, Constance Contraire. She is highly resourceful.

Kristen Schaal (The Last Man on Earth) will portray Number Two, the trusted lieutenant of Mr Benedictus. The other trust lieutenant of Mr Benedict, Rhonda, will be portrayed by MaameYaa Boafo (Ramy). Gia Sandhu (The Indian Detective) will portray miss Perumal, Reynie's tutor in the orphanage. She wants Reynie to have a better chance at life. Ryan Hurst (The Walking Dead) will portray Milligan, one of the supervisors at the Mysterious Benedict Society.
