Leo Woodall, known for The White Lotus, among others, will play a leading role in Netflix's limited series Vladimir. Netflix is developing a new limited series, titled Vladimir, based on the novel by Julia May Jonas. The psychological and sensual series centers on a middle-aged woman, played by Rachel Weisz, whose life slowly goes off the rails. She becomes obsessed with an attractive and mysterious new colleague, Vladimir, played by Leo Woodall. This obsession drives her to pursue her deepest fantasies in real life, leading to a story full of intrigue, secrets and dark humor.

The eight-episode series was officially approved by Netflix in March. In addition to her lead role, Weisz is also an executive producer, along with Jonas, who wrote both the book and screenplay.
Leo Woodall is a fast-rising star, best known for his role in the second season of The White Lotus. He also played the male lead in One Day, a popular Netflix romance series, and had a role in Apple TV+’s Prime Target. In the film world, he recently gained attention as Renée Zellweger’s young lover in Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy. He is also set to appear in Nuremberg, a film based on a true story about the Nazi era.
Vladimir promises to be a suspenseful, provocative series that explores themes of desire, power, and self-destruction, with strong performances from both Weisz and Woodall.
