Below, in alphabetical order, are the top ten nominated best new series from 2022;
Bosch: Legacy

The fans of the original are very excited about this sequel series. So excited that the series managed to get a spot in our top 10. Bosch: Legacy jumps forward two years in time and again deals with private investigator Bosch and lawyer Honey Chandler.

Heartstopper

This sappy series about Charlie Spring and Nick Nelson appeared at the beginning of this year. Two British teens who fall in love. That may not seem so special, but many fell in love with this series. It's not often that LGBTIQ+ series or characters are full of positivity. Something always goes wrong, there is always someone against it. That is not the case here and that is seen by many as a milestone. Heartstopper will get a second and a third season anyway.

House of the Dragon

It was to be expected that House of the Dragon would be on this list. Although the first season was clearly an introduction to something bigger and certainly had its flaws, it certainly deserves a spot in this top 10. I'm very curious if the dragons will prevail.

Reacher

If you like action series, this Amazon Prime series is for you. We follow Jack Reacher, a veteran who is accused of murder. As he proves his innocence, a deep-seated conspiracy begins to emerge, one that will require Reacher's sharp mind and tough fists. One thing is especially certain: they picked the wrong guy to take the blame. That is promising.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

Since the appearance of The Rings of Power and House of the Dragon, the two have been pitted against each other. They also compete with each other in this list. The dragons or the elves, that is the question. Both have received both negative and positive reviews. I have a strong preference myself, but who am I?

The Sandman

Another fantasy series that has managed to win over many enthusiasts this year is The Sandman. Netflix has also ordered a second season. That's quite exciting since it took a while. A bit episodic and fragmented, but there's a lot more to come. That is obvious.

Wednesday

The fact that this very recent series has managed to collect so many votes to be on this list is promising. It was a very entertaining series full of fantasy and humor. A combination that is not always easy to achieve. Jenna Ortega shines in her role Wednesday Addams.
