Below, in alphabetical order, the top ten nominees of the best series from 2024;
Agatha All Along
Things have been a bit up and down for Marvel in recent years. Certainly, not all series were equally good. Let's be honest about that. A standout for me, however, was WandaVision. Agatha All Along is a direct spin-off from this and makes that a reality. A wonderful, real fantasy series full of magic. Even recommended if you're not a Marvel fan.

Avatar: The Last Airbender
It's always exciting when a beloved animated series is adapted into live-action. It is extra exciting when the previous attempt has failed miserably. Once again opinions were divided (but of course people always have something to complain about). I thought it was a very successful series!

House of the Dragon
Of course, House of the Dragon cannot be missed on this list. You can say whatever you want. Perhaps you thought this season was a bit slow (it was at points), perhaps you expected more from it. But it was still a game of fantastic political and tactical games. Wonderful to look at. Almost a kind of historical drama (only with dragons).

Kaos
This series did not last long. Something about mythology, something about comedy. The readers and writers liked it enough to nominate here! Unfortunately, Netflix didn't like it enough to shy away from a second season (surprising!).

La Brea
La Brea is a somewhat older series. However, I don't think I have seen this on this list before (I'm sure it's because of the split that we see it now!). The series is on my list, but I haven't seen it yet. This season was the last season.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Another series that people found quite exciting to be made. The books are very popular. The films less so. Luckily, this series goes a long way in the right direction! I really enjoyed these Greek 'demigods' and can't wait for the second season.

Renegade Nell
Renegade Nell is a Disney+ adventure series and a nice addition to this list. As a MySeries user writes: 'Nice original series where supernatural forces don't make it easy for Renegade Nell after the murder of her father by the magistrate's son.'

Sweet Tooth
Another complete series in this list. Sweet Tooth has been popular among MySeries users for a number of years. Did you also like the last season? We'll see.

The Devil's Hour
One of my co-writers was very enthusiastic about this series a few years ago. Normally a series like this would not get a place on the list, but with the split between fantasy and sci-fi there is now a place for it! That's nice. I'm curious how you will vote.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power
Another series about which opinions are greatly divided. I gave up quite quickly myself. It didn't appeal to me. But judging by its place on this list, it might entertain many of you. That's beautiful! So many series, so many flavours.

These were all ten nominees nominated by you, the readers, by the writers and myself. If you want to choose a different series, use your wildcard. Good luck voting.
