Sun, sea, beach and series!

Summer vacation has arrived. Plenty of reason to explore which series can get us in the summer mood. Whether you're high in the mountains, braving a campsite, staying home, or just waiting for sun, sea, and sand, luckily these days you can watch shows anywhere. Depending on the type of vacation you choose, weather conditions can vary quite a bit. Yet, we often associate summer with sun-drenched days, water fun, and the occasional relaxing drink. I thought it would be fun to suggest a few shows that truly capture that summer feeling.

Hawaii Five-0 (SkyShowtime)

A wonderful series to rekindle that summer feeling is Hawaii Five-0. The series is logically set in Hawaii, with tropical landscapes, beaches, and plenty of action. What can you expect? A police team solves crimes with plenty of chases, shootouts, and drama.

Baywatch

Baywatch is an ultimate classic for sun, sea, and sand lovers. The series takes place on a beach, of course, with a group of scantily clad rescue workers called into action. Perfect for a delightful evening of nostalgia and lighthearted action. Streaming this series is tricky. Sometimes Baywatch is available separately on Prime Video, and otherwise, you'll have to dust off the DVD box set.

The White Lotus (HBO Max)

For those looking for a luxurious stay, the series The White Lotus might offer a solution. Set in luxury resorts, the series showcases a variety of tropical locations like Hawaii and Sicily. Hopefully, things will be much more pleasant at your resort, as The White Lotus is packed with sharp dialogue, intrigue, and simmering tension.

Outer Banks (Netflix)

Another summer must-see. Outer Banks offers sun-drenched beaches, a treasure hunt, friendships, and summer romance. A perfect mix for the youngsters among us who love excitement and romance.

Burn Notice (Disney+)

Finally, I'd like to highlight this series. Burn Notice is set in Miami. This location serves as the backdrop, with palm trees and the beach as a backdrop. A former spy helps people in need by using his unique skills. This is accompanied by plenty of action and a touch of humor.

There are quite a few series where summer scenes predominate. I might do another round with some sun-drenched tips. Hopefully, this will help you get through the summer in a worthwhile way.
