Unfortunately, the TNets move is nothing new since the Warner Bros. merger. discovery last year. The start of Chad's second season was canceled without notice - twice. The comedy series was eventually canceled by TBS, even though the second season had been completed months earlier. The series was later sold to The Roku Channel, and season two will air on the free service sometime this year.
Other cancellations by the company included dating series The Big D (TBS, discontinued before premiere, picked up by USA Network), scripted comedy series Kill the Orange Bear (TBS, production canceled) and drama series Snowpiercer (TNT, fourth and final season discontinued ).
Nothing is known yet about what will happen to The Lazarus Project, Miracle Workers (2019) (photo) or The Cube. For now, a TNets representative says the missing start dates are due to adjustments to TBS and TNT's schedules so the company can better support the series when they premiere later in the year.
If the TNets drop the series, as they did with the others, they will likely end up on another television channel or streaming platform. In the case of Miracle Workers (2019), the cast's options have expired, so it seems unlikely that it will be renewed for a fifth season, regardless of what happens to the fourth season episodes.
