Bubble Watch 18 January 2013

For the American networks it is important that their series will attract a great audience. If they cannot pull this off, they cancel the series immediately. However, if they manage to attract a proper audience, they will continue its broadcast. The website has their so-called Cancellation Bear. It shows exactly which shows you can expect to return to your screen by next year and which have not made the cut. I try to publish the monthly Bubble Watch every second Friday of the month, so you will know which of your favourite shows will prevail.

A half-year has passed for the networks and a lot has happened i.e. a lot of series have already been granted a renewal or a cancellation. In the future, you can expect news reports on how the ratings work in the States e.g. Critical Acclaim (the press’ opinion, Emmy’s, Golden Globes), Syndication, and, of course, the ratingpoints. For now, I only provide you with the Bubble Watch featuring the shows who have had their first episode this very season.
