List of series that will restart production now that strikes are over

The six-month production shutdown due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes is officially over and television studios aren't wasting a minute, with mostly returning series immediately going into full production. As news broke Wednesday evening, minutes after the end of the SAG-AFTRA strike was announced after the actors' guild and the studios reached a tentative agreement on a new contract, the cast and crew of several series began receiving notices of tentative start dates at the end November and early December.

Below is a running list of the television series that will lead the way in returning to production. We will of course continue to report as new production dates are set, including for series such as Netflix's Stranger Things, Max's The Penguin, Welcome To Derry and Hacks and Paramount Network's Yellowstone (2018), which are expected to begin filming very soon. All dates are provisional and subject to change.



For now, it appears that NBC/Warner Bros TV's Night Court (2023) is pointing the way to a post-strike production restart, with a target of returning to production on November 15.

Other series are eyeing a tentative production start in late November, with a post-Thanksgiving kickoff on November 27th the most common date:
