Paramount+'s JonBenét Ramsey Series to Become Part of Anthology Series

Paramount+'s JonBenét Ramsey series will be part of an anthology series about heartbreaking and gripping unsolved crimes.
The previously announced limited series now has a working title — Unspeakable: The Murder of JonBenét Ramsey — and stars Melissa McCarthy (pictured left) and Clive Owen (pictured right) as Patsy and John Bennett Ramsey, the parents of six-year-old JonBenét Ramsey, who was murdered in 1996. Patsy Ramsey died in 2006 after twice battling ovarian cancer.

The streamer announced the title during the 2025 Golden Globes, where McCarthy was the host for Best Comedy or Musical Series (Hacks won).

A premiere date for Unspeakable: The Murder of JonBenét Ramsey has yet to be announced.

Here's the synopsis: "The series centers on the story of Patsy and John Ramsey, exploring their unbreakable partnership and the complex dynamics of their marriage and parenthood. It explores how they created a story of a perfect, privileged life for themselves and their children — a facade shattered by tragedy one Christmas Eve in 1996."

The cast also includes Emily Mitchell, Garrett Hedlund, Alison Pill, Shea Whigham, Owen Teague, Clifton Collins Jr, Rory Cochrane, Chris Bauer, Angus Caldwell, Will Patton, John Billingsley, Jeremy Bobb, Jaime Ray Newman, Josh Stamberg and guest star Margo Martindale.
