Breaking Bad actor coming to Heroes Dutch Comic Con

American actor Dean Norris will come to Utrecht on June 21 and 22 to attend the largest comic con in the Netherlands. During the weekend of 20, 21 and 22 June, the Jaarbeurs will once again be filled with thousands of visitors for a weekend full of pop culture during Heroes Dutch Comic Con. For the event, world-famous special guests will head to the Jaarbeurs to meet their Dutch fans. Now the organisation has announced that Dean Norris, best known for his role as Hank Schrader in the television series Breaking Bad, will be joining them.



Earlier, the organization of the three-day event announced other high-profile guests. For example, Supernatural actors Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins will be attending the event. Baldur’s Gate 3 voice actors Samantha Béart and Dave Jones will also be joining the biggest comic con in the Netherlands. Today, Dean Norris is added to this list.

American actor Dean Norris has quite a track record, although he will be best recognized for his role in one of the most watched television series, Breaking Bad. In the Emmy-award winning series, he took on the role of DEA agent Hank Schrader for five seasons. The actor briefly returned to his old familiar role in 2020 for the Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul.

But that is certainly not the only thing he can be known for. He was seen as mutant Tony in the Paul Verhoeven film Total Recall, he played an important role as James Rennie in the apocalyptic series Under the Dome and as a commander in Starship Troopers. Norris also had guest appearances in hit series such as Lost, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and The Big Bang Theory.

Norris will be present as a special guest on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 June. On these days, fans can have their picture taken with him, get his autograph, ask him anything during the Q&A on the main stage, or meet him personally during an exclusive meet & greet. On Friday 20 June, there will be a special preview night, with an adjusted program. Dean Norris will only be present on Saturday and Sunday and not on Friday evening.
