Elizabeth Norment dies

Actress Elizabeth Norment died of cancer on 13 October. Her sister Kate has confirmed the news. Elizabeth played Nancy Kaufberger, Frank Underwood's secretary in the Netflix hit series ‘House of Cards (2013)’.

Kevin Spacey tweeted: “RIP Elizabeth Norment. We all loved her and she leaves a void in all of us here at HoC's.” "Everyone at ‘House of Cards (2013)’ is deeply saddened by Elizabeth's passing. She was a talented actress, a warm soul and a good friend to us all," series showrunner Beau Willimon said in a statement on behalf of the show.

Elizabeth began her career on television in the series ‘The Twilight Zone (1985)’. She had roles in: ‘St. Elsewhere’,’ L.A. Law’, ‘Doogie Howser, M.D.’, ‘ER’, ‘Law & Order’, and many others. It is not yet known whether Elizabeth will be included in the already produced third season of ‘House of Cards (2013)’.

Elizabeth Norment was 61 years old.
