SkyShowtime unveils 2026 line-up for all European markets

SkyShowtime announces big news: the Yellowstone (2018) spin-off Y: Marshals (A Yellowstone Story) is confirmed as one of the new series for the coming year.
SkyShowtime will be the exclusive home of the latest Yellowstone (2018) spin-off by Oscar-nominated Taylor Sheridan, Y: Marshals (A Yellowstone Story), in which Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) joins an elite unit of the U.S. Marshals.

The series joins the previously announced, highly anticipated new Sheridan titles, including Dutton Ranch (working title), featuring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser returning as Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, along with Ed Harris and five-time Oscar nominee Annette Bening, and The Madison with Golden Globe winner Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell.

Highly anticipated new seasons of popular series also return with an impressive cast of award-winning actors. Golden Globe winner Michael C. Hall returns in Dexter: Resurrection season two, Oscar winners Zoe Saldana and Nicole Kidman join forces for the third season of the popular spy thriller Lioness, and Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren reprise their roles in the second season of MobLand, the series by Guy Ritchie about global organized crime.

Oscar nominees Michael Fassbender and Jeffrey Wright star alongside Jodie Turner-Smith and Golden Globe winner Richard Gere in the second season of the spy thriller The Agency, and Oscar nominee Sylvester Stallone returns as Dwight 'The General' Manfredi in the fourth season of Tulsa King.

Ella Purnell is back as the murderous wallflower Rhiannon Lewis in the second season of the darkly comedic thriller Sweetpea, and the psychological horror story and coming-of-age drama Yellowjackets returns with a fourth season.

Star Trek fans can look forward to the arrival of the U.S.S. Enterprise in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season four as well as the brand-new series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, featuring Oscar winner Holly Hunter and Oscar nominee Paul Giamatti, focusing on a young group of cadets.

The must-see lineup of new, exclusive series premiering soon on SkyShowtime includes the culture-clashing dramedy All In and the spectacular drama series Amadeus, starring BAFTA winner and Emmy nominee Will Sharpe and BAFTA and Golden Globe nominee Paul Bettany. Thriller enthusiasts can look forward to spy thrillers like PONIES, featuring Emilia Clarke and Haley Lu Richardson, and The Copenhagen Test with Simu Liu.

The new series promise plenty of variety, such as the intriguing drama The Death of Bunny Munro with BAFTA and Emmy nominee Matt Smith, Under Salt Marsh, an exciting crime drama with Kelly Reilly (Yellowstone (2018)), and the mystery-comedy series The ‘Burbs with Keke Palmer, who also serves as an executive producer. Fans looking to rediscover familiar hits can enjoy Gomorrah - The Origins, the gritty prequel about the Italian mafia.

The growing lineup of local SkyShowtime Originals is expanding with the intimate, six-part Swedish drama series Trio, based on the gripping bestseller by Joanna Hedman, the thrilling eight-part Spanish thriller The Tribute (El Homenaje), from the creative team behind the hit series Shades (Matices) that debuted this year, and the brand-new Polish Original series Pionek (working title), a sequel to the award-nominated hit series Śleboda.

It may be known, but do you have to have seen Yellowstone to be able to follow the spin-off?

You don't necessarily need to have seen Yellowstone to enjoy Y: Marshals. Kayce's story as a US Marshal is largely self-contained. But if you have seen Yellowstone, you'll understand Kayce's background, relationships, and connections much better, making the series more impactful.
