A crime and comedy series have entered production at CBS

The crime series Follow the Money by Michael Peterson and the comedy series Alam, The Family by Sabrina Jalees (Powerless) have entered production at CBS. CBS has started working on a dramatic crime series that is called Follow the Money. It was created and written by Michael Peterson. Next to that, a comedy series by Sabrina Jalees (Powerless) has also started production at CBS. Both projects come from Aaron Kaplan's Kapital Entertainment and CBS TV Studios.

Follow the money revolves around a forensic accountant, who has turned in her father due to designing a brilliant pyramid scheme. She is working alongside an FBI agent. By following the money, she manages to solve the most difficult cases.

Alam, the Family is based on the life and childhood of writer Jalees and revolves around a Pakistani-American family who lived in New Jersey in the 90s. The family finds themselves to be completely different, but also exactly the same.
