Scott Cooper will be writing and directing the new Angels & Demons

Black Bear Television and Scott Cooper are working together on a new series that is based on an article from Pulitzer price winner Thomas French. Angels & Demons is based on an article by Thomas French from the St Petersburg Times. French won the Pulitzer price thanks to this article back in 1998. The story revolves around the tragic murder of three women. Their bodies are discovered in the shallow waters of the Tampa Bay.

Scott Cooper will be writing and directing the limited series. Angels & Demons is the first series that features Cooper as both a writer and director. He has acted before in a series called Broken Trail. Black Bear Television is the studios behind the project, which will serve alongside Cooper as the executive producer of the series. Thomas French will also be involved in the project.
