Amazon orders series adaptation of I Know What You Did Last Summer

Amazon Prime Video has ordered a series called I Know What You Did Last Summer. It'll be based on the horror film with the same name that released in 1997.

I Know What You Did Last Summer has been given the green light by Amazon Prime Video. The series has been written by Sara Goodman (Preacher) and is an adaptation of the horror movie with the same name that released back in 1997. The series will have pretty much the same story as the movie, but with a modern twist.

The story revolves around a group of teenagers who find themselves in a deadly accident on their prom night. They are then haunted by a mysterious murder for over a year. Both the movie and the series have been based on the book with the same name by Lois Duncan that released in 1973. Jennifer Love Hewitt (Criminal Minds) portrayed one of the lead characters at the time. It is not yet known who's going to portray the lead characters in the series or when it is expected to release.
