Amazon orders supernatural series Lightyears

Amazon has ordered a supernatural drama called Lightyears. The series comes from Holden Miller and Daniel C. Connolly. Lightyears follows the life of Franklin and Irene York. The couple found a hidden room in their backyard a couple of years ago. The room leads to a strange, abandoned planet. Since then, they've kept this a secret, but the quiet existence of the Yorks is suddenly gone when a mysterious young man enters their life.

Holden Miller has written Lightyears and Daniel C. Connolly (The Son) will be serving as showrunner and executive producer. Juan José Campanella (Colony) will be directing the first two episodes and will also serve as executive producer. Amazon Studios and Legendary Television will be producing the series.
