Killing Eve producer adapts horror films Ginger Snaps into series

Producer Sid Gentle Films (Killing Eve) and John Fawcett (Orphan Black) are adapting the horror movie series Ginger Snaps into a television series.
Ginger Snaps is based on the movie with the same name that released in 2000. Later, Ginger Snaps 2: Unleashed and Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning released. This means that there is enough material to turn the story into a television series. Anna Ssemuyaba (Guerrilla) will be writing the new series. Fellow creator of the movie John Fawcett (Orphan Black) will be serving as executive producer alongside Sally Woodward Gentle (Killing Eve).

The story revolves around the sisters Ginger and Brigette, who see themselves as outcasts from their birthplace. The duo is inseparable and is fascinated by the macabre. They make a pact to run away from their parental home when they're sixteen or they will commit suicide. This doesn't go according to plan, as in the first night of her menstruation, Ginger is attacked and infected by a werewolf. In Ginger, monstrous puberty is unleashed, which Brigette isn't able to understand or deal with. Brigette has to find a way to keep her sisters' new desires in check, or else she risks to lose her forever. Down below, you can watch the movie trailer.
