Kurt Braunohler and Lauren Cook's Pushing in production at NBC

A new comedy series by Kurt Braunohler (Bob's Burgers), Lauren Cook (Station 19) and Universal TV has entered production at NBC.

Kurt Braunohler (Bob's Burgers) and Lauren Cook (Station 19) have written Pushing. Next to that, they'll also serve as executive producers. Pushing takes place on the work floor of a birth centre. All of the employees are women, but then, a male doula joins the team.

Next to Braunohler and Cook, Jimmy Miller and Sam Hansen will also serve as executive producer. Universal Television is responsible for production. It is not yet known who is going to portray the lead characters and when the series is set to premiere.
