Paramount TV Studios to adapt Joe Hills Voluntary Commital into a series

At Paramount TV Studios, a series has entered development which is based on the thriller story Voluntary Commital.
Earlier, the books Locke & Key and NOS4A2 by Joe Hill were adapted into a series. Another Hill story will be adapted soon. Paramount TV Studios is going to adapt the book Voluntary Committal into a series. Brad Caleb Kane (Warrior (2019)) will be writing the script. Bob Cooper (Medical Investigation) and Cooper's business Landscape Entertainment will also be involved in creating the series.

The story is based on the book with the same name by Joe Hill and it revolves around Nolan Lerner and his quest to figuring out the truth behind the disappearance of his autistic brother and a possible connection to a dark secret from his past. Nolan isn't the only one in this town who's hiding a secret. In this city, a dark story surrounds the missing persons, which has been an ongoing thing for several decades. In the series, two stories will intertwine. The first is the quest to find the young brother and the other takes place in Nolan's adult years.
