Phylicia Rashid is working on a series adaptation of Eternity Springs and may also portray the lead character

Phylicia Rashad (The Cosby Show), Roma Roth and Christopher E. Perry (Virgin River) are working on a series adaptation of the book series Eternity Springs.

Work has started on a new series called Eternity Springs, which is based on the eighteen-part book series with the same name by Emily March. John E. Pogue (Beauty and The Beast) will write the series adaptation. Phylicia Rashad (The Cosby Show) will serve as executive producer. Next to that, it is likely that she'll also portray a lead character in the new series. Roma Roth and Christopher E. Perry (Virgin River) will also serve as executive producer. Currently, no network is tied to Eternity Springs.

The specific storyline for the series isn't completely clear, but the producers have said that the show will deal with important and meaningful contemporary issues. They hope to appeal to a diverse audience of multiple generations.
