Apple TV+ orders Roar starring Nicole Kidman and Cynthia Erivo

Apple has ordered Roar, which comes from Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch (GLOW). Nicole Kidman (Big Little Lies) and Cynthia Erivo (Genius) will be part of the cast. A new series called Roar will enter the fray. The cast features Nicole Kidman (Big Little Lies), Cynthia Erivo (Genius), Merritt Wever (Unbelievable) and Alison Brie (GLOW), amongst others. The series comes from Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch (GLOW). The series is produced for Apple TV+ as part of the deal that was signed between the streaming service and Flahive and Mensch.

Since 2018, Roar has been worked on. The anthology series is based on a book series featuring short stories by Cecelia Ahern. Eight episodes of thirty minutes will be made. In each episode, a new story will be told. It will always be from a female perspective.
