HBO Max orders Love and Death featuring Elizabeth Olsen

HBO Max has ordered Love and Death by David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies). Elizabeth Olsen (Marvel's WandaVision) can be seen in one of the lead roles. Love and Death revolve around two couples who are going to church and are enjoying family life in a small town in Texas. Well, until somebody grabs an axe. The series is based on the book Evidence of Love: A True Story of Passion and Death in the Suburbs by Joe Bob Briggs and Love & Death in Silicon Prairie, Part I & II, which is a series of articles from Texas Monthly.

Elizabeth Olsen (Marvel's WandaVision) will portray the lead character, Candy Montgomery. The series is written by David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies). Lesli Linka Glatter (Homeland) has directed the series. Lionsgate Television is responsible for production. Nicole Kidman (Big Little Lies), Per Saari (Big Little Lies), Helen Verno (In a Child's Name), Matthew Tinker (Big Little Lies), Michael Klick (Homeland) and Texas Monthly will serve as executive producers.
