FOX orders pilot of The Last Police

FOX has ordered a pilot episode of The Last Police, which is based on The Last Policeman by Ben Winters. Kyle Killen (Mind Games (2014)) has written The Last Police and will also direct the episodes. Killen also serves as executive producer. It is the first order that was placed by FOX for the 2021-2022 production season. This series is an adaptation of the book The Last Policeman by Ben Winters.

The Last Police revolves around a detective from a small town, who believes she is chosen to save humanity as an asteroid is heading towards Earth with apocalyptic consequences. Her cynical partner isn't sure what more he'll enjoy, her delusions or the end of the world.
