Netflix is working on a new series, which is called Blackout. All six episodes will be written by different writers.
Blackout is told from the perspective of twelve teenagers. The stories take place during a hot summer in New York. Due to a power outage, people are forced to share their secrets, which results in blossoming love. The series comes from producers Higher Ground and Temple Hill.
The series consists of six episodes. Each episode will focus on a different story. Every single episode will also be written by a different writer. Dhonielle Clayton (Tiny Pretty Things), Tiffany D. Jackson (American Horror Story), Nic Stone, Angie Thomas (The Hate U Give), Ashley Woodfolk and Nicola Yoon (Everything, Everything) will each write one episode.
