The book The Final Girl Support Group by Grady Hendrix will be adapted into a series by Charlize Theron and Barbara and Andy Muschietti.
The Final Girl Support Group has entered production at HBO Max. The series comes from Charlize Theron's (Hyperdrive (2019)) Denver & Delilah Films, Double Dream and Barbara and Andy Muschietti's (Locke & Key) Aperture Entertainment. Andy Muschietti will direct the pilot episode. Theron, A.J. Dix, Beth Kono (Mindhunter), Andrew Haas (Living Biblically), the Muschietti's and Irene Young will serve as executive producers.

The Final Girl Support Group is based on the book with the same name by Grady Hendrix. It was published on the 13th of July. The story revolves around a therapeutical support group, which is based in Los Angeles. The six girls from the group are survivors of mass murderers. Apart from that, there isn't that much known about the details.
