Netflix gives the green light to The Night Agent

Netflix has started production on The Night Agent, which is based on the bestseller by Matthew Quirk. Shawn Ryan (S.W.A.T. (2017)) and Seth Gordon (Atypical) have started working on the series. The Night Agent revolves around a low-ranking FBI Agent who works in the basement of The White House. During a night, he ends up in a quick and dangerous conspiracy that eventually leads up to the Oval Office. Ten episodes have been ordered.

The political thriller comes from Shawn Ryan (S.W.A.T. (2017)) and is based on the bestseller by Matthew Quirk that was released in 2019. Ryan will serve as showrunner and will also serve as executive producer through his company MiddKid Productions. Seth Gordon (Atypical) will direct the first episode and will also serve as executive producer.
