Reginald the Vampire in production at Syfy

Syfy has ordered a series that is based on the Fat Vampire book series by Johnny B. Truant. Jacob Batalon (50 States of Fright) will portray the lead character. The series comes from Harley Peyton (Twin Peaks). Peyton has written the series and will also serve as showrunner. Syfy has immediately ordered ten episodes of this new series. Jacob Batalon (50 States of Fright) will portray the lead character.

Reginald The Vampire takes place in a world of beautiful, fit and vain vampires. Batalon will portray Reginald Baskin, who suddenly finds himself in that world. He will have to overcome various obstacles, but finds out that he possesses various unrecognized powers. The girl he loves is outside of his grasp, his manager is a bully and the vampire leader wants to kill him. The series is based on the Fat Vampire book series by Johnny B. Truant.
