The action-packed Murderbot was given the green light by AppleTV+ a year ago, with the casting of the main character interrupted by the strikes. The series revolves around a self-hacking security android (Skarsgård) who is horrified by human emotions yet drawn to his vulnerable 'clients'. Murderbot must hide his free will and complete a dangerous assignment, when all he really wants to do is be left alone to watch futuristic soap operas and discover his place in the universe.
