Jon Hamm will play a role in AppleTV+ series Your Friends and Neighbors

Jon Hamm, who just finished playing a complicated tech billionaire on The Morning Show, has found yet another Apple TV+ drama series to star in. The Mad Men star is the lead in the drama series Your Friends and Neighbors from Warrior (2019) creator Jonathan Tropper and Apple Studios.

Hamm (pictured) plays Coop, a recently divorced hedge fund manager who, after being fired, resorts to stealing from the wealthy residents of his suburb to maintain his family's lifestyle. These petty crimes begin to revive him until he breaks into the wrong house at the wrong time.

Topper, who served as showrunner for Apple's See and has an umbrella deal with the streamer, created the series and will serve as showrunner. He will produce alongside Hamm and Connie Tavel (Judging Amy).

Between The Morning Show and now Your Friends and Neighbors, it's come a long way since Hamm starred in that sarcastic ad that emphasizes that he's never starred in a project for Apple.

Hamm previously starred in Lifetime's The Division, Channel 4/Netflix anthology series Black Mirror, Netflix comedy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Amazon/BBC's Good Omens and in season five of FX anthology series Fargo.
